Greymouth writing

Greymouth

The ghost town. As we enter Greymouth, the towns bones are exposed as it is an old town. Greymouth was built on mining, now falling apart. We are exposed bones but all our fellow people are holding it together like skin. That's all we have left but the people around this old town are the warm heart, keeping this old body healthy. Everyone is upset about the an article written by the Press in the newspaper that revealed bad things about greymouth. It sounds like Greymouth is really annoyed about it.

When people hit the town to shop, it doesn’t feel busy. I mean a lot of
individuals may think so but it’s really not compared to other places like
Los Angeles (LA). With it not being busy most of the time, it does take a
while to get places at 3:00pm or 5:00pm those are the times that most people
finish work. The only times we have traffic jams are when the Christmas
parade is on or a huge town event, the traffic jams mostly happen on the
Cobden bridge.

Some people like me love animals so there are not many people hunting.
I find it sad when animals die and most places your not allowed to hunt in
but people do. Also there is quite a bit of nature for the animals which is
good because the people hunting can lose them. I bet it would look beautiful
in the mornings and the smell of nature is really nice. On the way to school
there are lots of paddocks for the animals and people try to help by making
tunnels under the road for the cows, sheep, etc. It’s like a tunnel and it
stops cows from being on the road to get to another paddock.

Greymouth has a lot of things to do like the pool or the beach but there
is one problem: there are not a lot of shops, just recently Postie Plus has closed!
We still have buildings, a lot of them but they are not being used! Looks like
the most common shops are: The Warehouse, Paper Plus, Countdown
last but not least New World. We need more shops, more entertainment for
kids but sometimes we just have to order online. I think we need Kmart.

Speaking of shops what about restaurants we need more we have KFC,
mcdonald's, fish’ n ‘chips and some other that are that popular. In my opinion
we need Burger king. Cafes are pretty rare because no one uses them. We
really only use maggie's cafe and the bonzai otherwise it’s a fast
food/takeaways but they still taste good. When you go past though it smells
so good it makes you hungry. Greymouth has a lot of restaurants,
takeaways and cafes most of them don’t get used. Only some people go to
restaurant and cafes.

A sometimes busy town with the traffic, the nature and the wilderness,
the shops and businesses, cafes and restaurants it goes all together and
make greymouth. Times to go out have a curtain time. There’s a lot of places
with grass. All of the shops.Lots of place to eat. It all makes greymouth! The
sun mostly rain makes greymouth.
